"I wrote this review a few days ago on the main wall - Macreddin is a fantastic new layout that feels like it's been there forever – This is a great sign of things to come as McGinley’s first foray into golf course architecture- the most noticeable feature, besides the exquisite, firm turf and immaculate putting surfaces is how most fairways are lined with the most beautiful pine trees - this gives the impression that very little earth was moved in making the course, rather the fairways were routed along the natural curvature of the ground by the trees. The large elevation changes make for some stunning views and a good work out but the exceptional 4 ball and buggy deals mean you won't be out of pocket if you decide to go for a little comfort! I couldnt believe they were only charging 40 euros a head - fantastic value!"

"What an amazing course! I've never seen so many unique holes on one course! Usually if I played a course this good I'd tell people to find the money...however Macreddin have some fantastic play + buggy offers available, meaning you can enjoy it as offen as you like. "I played Macreddin today for the first time and I cant think of a better course I've ever played. From hole 1 to 18 is a course full of unique holes. Swooping dog legs right left Up and down the wicklow mountains, We had and many trills on this course was we've had all year. Paul McGinley has superb vision for golf holes... and I even hit the 4th in one on my first attempt, what a 7 iorn!! Cant wait to go back..."
