| Paul on Tour 2007 | |
| Paul had a very solid start to the 2007 season with 2 promising erformances in the Gulf. His first outing yielded an 8 under par finish in Qatar giving him a tie for 15th place. This was followed by another finish on 8 under in Dubai and a tie for 25th place.
After a quick stop at home with his family it was off to the other side of the globe and his 2007 debut on the US PGA Tour at the AT&T Pro-am. Partnering Dermot Desmond for the second year running in the pro-am Paul finished the tournament under par on -1 for a tie of 49th place. Continuing on the US Tour Paul played in the 2007 Nissan Open in California where he finished the tournament with another under par result. Having played his first 4 tournaments of the year in a total of 19 under par, Paul takes a three week break before he starts his season in earnest with playing 5 in a row starting with the Spanish open in Madrid next week. |

| Paul's Visit 22nd and 23rd March 2007 | |
| Following a busy day in Dublin with some of his sponsors Paul arrived in Macreddin
Village at 5pm on Thursday 23rd March accompanied by the Ryder Cup! The first sign of light came at 6.30am on Friday morning and Paul was out on the golf course surveying the progress before a 7.30am breakfast meeting with the full design team. Ten hours of course work followed where Paul hit balls from different tees ensuring the landing areas were as he planned. Throughout the day Paul met with members and members guests on the course explaining his philosophy on golf course design and how these ideas were implemented in Macreddin. After a long day on the course, the Macreddin Golf Club team met with Paul to plan the strategy for the rest of the year and finalise areas such as the practice ground facilities, clubhouse design and the opening of the first nine holes for a 'Privilege Preview' in August 2007. For all at Macreddin Golf Club this visit again confirmed the great input that Paul is putting into his first golf course design. |
